why I didnt come out today.

I started this nine hours ago. its done. we had to do a artist study/project in art on an artist. my teacher gave us a list of popular artists but i decided to see about doing Michael Sieben. She said it was cool so we had to write a paper and do a piece responding to our artists work. this is what i came up with. the presentation is tomorrow. im gonna show the piece and show the video Michael did with adidas. I REALLY wanted to get the pair of superskate hightops that Michael designed for adidas but I couldnt find them. I also went on a long search for just a t-shirt that he designed but couldnt find one in time. (if you have one let me know ASAP). its kind of hard to get the full effect of the face with the flash because i used pencil and its apparently really reflective. but yeah its a mix of pencil, acrylic, and sharpie. theres a shit ton of detail so the picture really doesnt do it justice. anyway, hope you like it.

i just woke up from a dream 2 minute ago where jason brent and I were trying to meet up with richie to go bowling. we eventually gave up and even though we gave up we still met up with him. somehow we pulled into a parkin lot and he was in the middle practicing yoga in some weird full body, baggy, blue costume. we greeted and what not then sj came speeding around the corner, parked, got out and was wearing some goggles from back to the future, a turtle neck jacket type thing, and two rectangle obama pins on either side of his collar/turtle neck. we went though some alley way to some plaza-ish type thing that was part of vcu that we had never seen before. i had decided not to bring my board but instead a hulla hoop that had written on it "obama's cock ring". i started playing with it then i remembered i could do the trick where you can throw it out in front of you with a back spin and make it look like a dog or something going away then comming back to you. jason then comes yelling "THATS TIGHT LETS SHOOT A SEQUENCE" where he then pulls out a little shit digi cam and started riffling of sequences in my face that sounded exactly like brents camera's sequences. so i started moving around quickly to warm up then i whipped the fuck out of that hulla hoop and it blasted off in front of me like 30 feet then sure enough came speeding back. i realised that there was a big rock or some shit in its path and started getting bummed it would just hit it and fall over. but it was carrying so much momentum it hit that shit and flew a good 10 feet in the air. everyone started yelling and then i leaped up michael jordan nike logo style and caught the fuck out of that shit and came back down ever so gracefully to my feet. everyone cheered and freaked out and it was epic.


it sucks that the entire dream was almost entirely realistic except for the fact that a lot of people met up to skate and everyone was happy.

last night made up for my whole shitty past month. of montreal at the national was sooooooooooo good. i highly recomend seeing them in concert when you get the chance. its weird but that was my first show/concert i've ever been to. id say last night was probably the second best night of my life, SJWHL premiere being the first. its weird because the only regret i had from both nights is that i didnt take any pictures. yeah, only thing i think i didnt like was the last song they played was a nirvana song, kinda weird.

free taco day EDIT

so after getting the text message about the free tacos today from a family friend at 2pm i quickly kicked it into gear since I was hungry.

my first TB stop was the one sean jackson hates on broad across from olive garden. I entered into a packed seating area with everyone staring at each other thinking the same thing: "they're here for the free taco, hes looking back at me thinking the same thing". so i go up and order: "ill have two free tacos please" the lady looks at me pissed off for some reason and says to me shortly "you cant have two" so i say shortly back "ok, ill have ONE FREE taco" she punches a few buttons on her little cash register and gives me a receipt. i take it, wait, get my taco, go outside to my car, eat it.

next stop, the TB in the sam's club shopping center. I enter into a near empty seating area and approach the register and chuckle because the lady at the register looks EXACTLY like scarlet in this video king showed me last night.(fast forward that video to 2:45) so i order knowing ill be denied two tacos: "ill have one free taco please" she snaps back with "why?" I'm speechless, confused, and a little angry at this point. I answer back in a confused voice "because I want one?" she says, "no, you have to give the reason" so again i answer trying not to look like a dumbass in front of the huge family behind me inline waiting to get their free tacos: "because I like them?" then scarlet says "no, there is a specific reason in the advertisement you have to tell me to get the free taco, maybe you should ask someone if you don't know" "so I turn around and ask and the family answers in almost complete unison "because somebody stole the plate in the world series" "so like a 6th grader i turn back to the scarlet and say "yeah, that". a few seconds later scarlet says "5 cent" and i look at her puzzled yet again. she says "tax", i fish around in my pocket knowing i dont have a damn nickel because i hate carrying change and then open my wallet to break a fucking dollar, whatever its free. i wait for my taco, then get the dipfuckingset. walking to my car someone honks twice behind me and this old man that had apparently heard the whole thing go down and looked a lot like my western civ teacher mr. Melia said "did you get your free taco? i was going to tell you the reason if you hadnt" i answer back "yes, thanks anyways"

last stop, short pump TB. im tired of typing, I went in, ordered, the lady asked me if i wanted soft or crunchy. the first time out of all three i knew i had the option, i had been getting shitty hardshells the whole time thinking that was all i was allowed. so i got me a softie.


sorry for wasting your time, i wanted to post a good story like denden but my life is boring as fuck. so when you go into a taco bell today make sure you know about hte world series base stealing thing and have a nickle on you just in case.
